Frequently asked questions
Do I need to file a Canadian tax return if I live in Canada as a U.S. citizen?
Can you prepare both my U.S. and Canadian returns together?
Do you prepare Quebec provincial tax returns?
Yes. Quebec residents file a separate provincial income tax return with Revenu Québec in addition to their federal Canadian T1 return. We prepare the Quebec TP-1 return for an additional $100.
For residents of other Canadian provinces, provincial income tax is calculated as part of the T1 filing, so a separate provincial return is not normally required.
